• 1. Mr. Manish Kumar Sachdeva is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Zoology Department of Shivaji College, University of Delhi. After completing his graduation in Zoology Hons. from Swami Shraddhanand College in 2001, he accomplished his master’s in Zoology with Entomology as specialization from Delhi University in the year 2003. He was felicitated by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam (Honourable Former President of India) as Distinguished Teacher, in the year 2009, and in the year 2010 he acted as a jury member for evaluating the scientific projects under DST (Department of Science and Technology, Government of India) New Delhi. Currently, he is a lifetime member of Vijnana Bharti (Vibha), a Government of India initiative for nation-building in terms of Scientific knowledge.
• 2. Mr. Kiran Kataria presently working in Indian Revenue Services, Government of India, he completed his graduation in Zoology Hons. from Swami Shraddhanand
• 3. Dr. Sunil Kumar is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Zoology Department of Zakir Hussain Delhi College, University of Delhi. After completing his graduation in Zoology Hons. from Swami Shraddhanand College in 2001, he completed his master’s in Zoology from Delhi University in the year 2003. He cleared Nation Eligiblity Test for lectureship (UGC NET-JRF) in 2003. After that, he accomplished his M.Phil and Ph.D. in Immuno-Endocrinology from Delhi University in the years 2005 & 2011 respectively.. He has published six research papers (five international and one national) and also written two chapters in books. He has also been given the "Dr. Shamim Haider Gold Medal" for best oral presentation. Currently he is also working under DST-funded SERB-EMR Research project.
• 4. Ms. Preeti Khatri is presently working as an Assistant Professor, English in SCERT, Delhi. After completing her graduation in Zoology Hons. from Swami Shraddhanand College in 2004. She has accomplished her master’s in English and Education. She has also done B.Ed., L.L.B, and cleared exams like DIETE, UGC NET both in English and Education.
• 5. Ms. Sakshi Gupta presently working as a senior consultant in DXC technologies (Sydney), has done her graduation in B.Sc Life Science, from Swami shraddhanand college, University of Delhi.
• 6. Mr. Abhishek Gupta presently working as a Principal consultant in DXC Enable professional services (Sydney). He has done his graduation from Swami shraddhanand college, University of Delhi, in B.Sc Life Science.

• The flagship course offered by the Department is B.Sc (Honours) Zoology, which is one of the most well known undergraduate programmes of the University of Delhi.
• In addition, the Department offers Advanced Zoology for B.Sc Programme and B.Sc Applied Life Sciences students. The Department also offers a variety of Generic Elective (GE) and Discipline Specific Elective (DSE) for the students of other honours and programme courses.

The speaker for the programme was Mr Sukh deep Singh, Assistant Controller of Patents and Design O/o CGPDTM, DPIIT.
